Green tea extract is an extract of green tea leaves. Taiyo Kagaku sells green tea extract powder, as well as the powder of green tea extract made by extracting and purifying polyphenol. Green tea contains many health components, and it’s been shown that catechins, a type of polyphenol, have a variety of health functions. Roughly 80% of the polyphenol contained in green tea leaves consists of eight types of catechins called “tea catechins”.
The total polyphenol amount, total catechin amount, EGCg amount, and caffeine amount vary based on extraction and refinement method. We will present them according to application.
